OenoCamp at Kramer Vineyards during Harvest 2012

Harvest in Oregon’s Willamette Valley can often be tricky. Rain coupled with slick and muddy hillsides are common. Happily, 2012 has proven to be a great growing season and the day I helped pick and bring in fruit, it wasgorgeous and sunny.

Kramer Vineyards graciously played host for a day with their first ever OenoCamp“Oeno” means the study of viticulture (grape growing) and winemaking, a pretty fitting name for the event they had planned.
