Hong Kong trade chief: Send more wine, green goods
The U.S. trade commissioner to Hong Kong is bullish on Oregon’s electronics, agriculture products and, in particular, the state’s wine production.
Donald Tong, the Washington, D.C.-based Hong Kong Commissioner for Economic and Trade Affairs, also told state and city officials during a visit this week that Oregon has vast exporting opportunities in the sustainable product realm. During a Friday interview in which he reviewed his visit, Tong mentioned one high-flying green Oregon manufacturer by name.
