While momentum builds in the U.S. for Oregon wines because of increased awareness of the quality of our state’s pinot noirs, another large potential for Oregon wines may be half way across the globe.
With rising economies in the Far East, specifically China, Japan and South Korea, there is a growing potential for Oregon wines in these markets.
This weekend, Oregon will achieve a milestone in cracking the market in South Korea.
According to the Oregon Department of Agriculture, two 40-foot containers of Oregon wine — about 27,000 bottles — will be departing the Port of Portland this weekend ...
