   Sokol Blosser Winery has begun construction of a new tasting room that will anchor the 100-acre winery and estate.

   Brad Cloepfil, founding principal of Allied Works Architecture, designed the building as a series of terraces carved into the contours of the Dundee Hills site in Yamhill county.

   The main tasting room is at the center of the building with a bar, outdoor terrace, sitting area and hearth.

   It is flanked by a library and kitchen, with a new cellar below the main floor for private tastings and storage.
