Speaker: John Stier, Global Corporate Consultancy, Antea Group and Beverage Industry Environmental Roundtable (BIER)
Global beverage companies continue to reduce their carbon footprint through a variety of initiatives including energy efficiency and renewables, use of Post-Consumer Recycled materials, and sustainable agricultural practices. John Stier with the Antea Group will review several key initiatives within the Beverage Industry Environmental Roundtable (BIER) and the Brewers Association that focus on carbon accounting and reduction. Initiatives that are applicable to Oregon wineries and vineyards will be discussed.
