Harvest in Oregon’s Willamette Valley can often be tricky. Rain coupled with slick and muddy hillsides are common. Happily, 2012 has proven to be a great growing season and the day I helped pick and bring in fruit, it wasgorgeous and sunny.
Kramer Vineyards graciously played host for a day with their first ever OenoCamp. “Oeno” means the study of viticulture (grape growing) and winemaking, a pretty fitting name for the event they had planned.
