      The Eugene downtown business development and urban wine boom continues with the opening of Pyrenees Lounge & Tasting Room — the first foray outside of the Umpqua Valley for Pyrenees Vineyard & Cellars, a 30-acre estate located just south of Roseburg in Myrtle Creek.

      The driving force behind Pyrenees — which produces a selection of eight red and five white wines — is Robert Stryk, 38, who purchased the winery in 2012. Stryk got into the wine business while working as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C. When one of his clients mentioned that his Oregon winery was for sale, Stryk took the plunge.
